Projekt EDISON na naší škole proběhl ve dnech 29. září až 3. října 2014.
Úvodem bychom rádi poděkovali rodině Violy Adamcové ze 7. C, která po celý týden ubytovávala stážistku z Indonésie, rodině Víta Smolky ze 7. C, která pečovala o stážistku z Číny, rodině Adama Štiky z 8. A, která se postarala o stážistku z Íránu, rodině Anny Woodové, u které byla ubytována stážistka z Brazílie, rodině Jarka Rohela z 8. B, která se postarala o stážistku z Rumunska, rodině Ondry Srby z 9. B, která věnovala svůj čas stážistovi z Bulharska a paní učitelce Trnkové, která ubytovala stážistku z Egypta.
Většina tříd druhého stupně navštívila dvě prezentace každého ze stážistů, tedy Ivana z Bulharska, Raniy z Egypta, Pegah z Íránu, Intan z Indonésie, Crystal z Číny, Dany z Rumunska a Thays z Brazílie.
V pondělí v první vyučovací hodině paní ředitelka všechny stážisty představila žákům na společném přivítání v tělocvičně školy. Od druhé pondělní hodiny až do čtvrtka byli všichni stážisté příjemnými vypravěči o sobě a svých zemích. V pátek měli nachystané stánky v tělocvičně, kde probíhala „global village“. V průběhu tří vyučovacích hodin sem přišly všechny třídy druhého stupně, aby využily poslední příležitosti setkat se se stážisty, položit jim poslední otázky, požádat je o podpis či společnou fotku. Děti si také mohly prohlédnout některé zajímavé předměty, které si naši hosté nachystali na svůj stánek.
Úplně poslední školní akcí v rámci tohoto projektu, byl společný výlet členů žákovské rady a tří stážistek na hrad Veveří. Účastníci cestovali parníkem k hradu, absolvovali prohlídku hradu, občerstvili se na nádvoří a poté se vrátili opět parníkem do Bystrce. Zde se naposledy rozloučili.
Celkově se projekt povedl, dozvěděli jsme se spoustu zajímavých informací a užili si příjemnou společnost našich zahraničních hostů. Po celou dobu byla ve třídách přátelská atmosféra, většina dětí se o země našich hostů opravdu zajímala a chtěla se dozvědět, co nejvíce. Jen je škoda, že několik málo našich žáků nemělo o informace zájem a během prezentací tito žáci rušili ostatní.
V průběhu týdne Katka s Klárou položily mladým stážistům dvě otázky. Tady jsou, včetně jejich odpovědí:
1) What do you like/dislike about Brno?
2) What do you like/dislike about our school and pupils?
Thays ( z Brazílie):
• I love the people from Brno! I had a wrong image about european people being cold and not communicative! I was really wrong about that, because I felt so welcomed. You´re warm and helpfull and the country is made of people, so I love The Czech Republic! I also love and appreciate the architecture of your city along with nature and forests. I couldn´t have chosen a better country!
• I think these are the smartest students of Brno, seriously. The only school that all the students knew my language, ha ha. The teachers are warm and fantastic. Thank you also for so much coffee.
Dana (z Rumunska):
• I like almost all the things about Brno. Firstly, the kindness of the people, I like that it is a clean city and the people are helpfull. The small children, V. and VI. grades are very curious, they ask questions and they enjoy everything. Older children are a bit loud and they don´t seem to be interested in the presentation.
• But, all in all, I like this school very much, because almost all the children understand English and they can ask questions and sometimes we had a very interesting conversation. The teachers are very helpfull and it is good that they helped us in every class, because sometimes we really needed their help.
Ivan (z Bulharska):
• I like the architecture, the atmosphere, but it´s a little bit quiet for me. I like the party! I like the public transportation. It´s accurate and well organised. Also, there are lots of nice parks and historical buildings. I don´t like that the shops close early and don´t work at the weekends.
• I like that you talk English really well and take care of us, but there are some classes that didn´t behave well and the timetable wasn´t really well organized.
Pegah (z Íránu):
• I like that most of this school´s students are interested in sports. Some of them some art work, too. But the thing that I really didn´t like was that some of the children were talking and talking. I have been very sick this week. Just some of the children can pay more attention to other people.
• But I really enjoyed some of my classes. The children were very good in English.
Crystal (z Číny):
• I like the people and the food in Brno.
• All of you are very active. I like you very much. Just some of the students sometimes don´t pay attention in the classroom. In general, I like this school and people very much.
Intan (z Indonésie):
• I like all things about Brno. I like it because everybody uses public transportation here. People can walk everywhere, so there´s no traffic jam. I feel safe walking in the middle of the night here, because there is low crime in the city.
• I really like this school, I love it because the children are very smart and speak English well. So I don´t have to use my body language. They are talking much in class but it is not a big problem because it is a natural thing for teenagers. So guys please stop chatting in the class. But over all it´s good.
Rania (z Egypta):
• Everything, it´s a very magnificent place, I like your crocodile, your castle, churches…
• They are smart, clever and hard workers. I love them all.
